Zayn Malik reschedules tour concerts after Liam Payne’s ‘heartbreaking’ death

Zayn Malik has announced the rescheduling of two of his forthcoming performances in Edinburgh, citing “unforeseen circumstances.” This decision comes shortly after he postponed the US segment of his Stairway To The Sky tour.

The former One Direction member had previously delayed the US leg of the tour following the tragic passing of his former bandmate, Liam Payne, who died in Argentina last month.

On Thursday, November 14, an update shared via an Instagram Story revealed that the concerts originally set for next week would now take place in December. The message stated, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Zayn’s ‘Stairway To The Sky’ show in Edinburgh, initially planned for November 20, has been rescheduled to December 8.” It further noted, “The Edinburgh concert on November 21 has been moved to December 9.”

The statement further indicated that all tickets purchased for the initial performance dates will be valid for the newly scheduled dates. In addition to Edinburgh, Zayn is scheduled to bring his UK tour to London, Wolverhampton, Leeds, Newcastle, and Manchester.
