Former Little Mix star Jesy Nelson announces pregnancy – and it’s twins

Jesy Nelson, who gained fame as part of the girl group Little Mix on The X Factor, has revealed that she’s expecting twins.

The 33-year-old singer shared the exciting news on Instagram, saying she’s “eating for three now,” along with a cute polaroid of her and Zion Foster, whom she reportedly split from last year.

In her heartfelt post on Sunday, she announced she’s about to become a mom for the first time, adding two baby emojis to her message.

The cozy snapshot features the couple smiling together in a kitchen setting.

Jesy shot to stardom with Little Mix, which was formed on The X Factor in 2011 and racked up several UK number-one hits. However, she decided to leave the group in December 2020 after nine years, citing the mental health challenges that came with being in the spotlight.

Since then, she’s been pursuing a solo career but still holds her former bandmates in high regard, stating on The Graham Norton Show in 2021: “To me they are still the sickest girl band in the world.”

After Jesy’s exit, Little Mix continued as a trio until they went on hiatus in 2022.
