Paris Hilton expresses deep sorrow after witnessing her home ‘burn to the ground on live TV’.

Paris Hilton took to Twitter to share her feelings about the ‘devastation’ caused by the wildfires in California.

Heads up: There are some graphic images and videos that might be disturbing.

Paris expressed her ‘heartache’ over the wildfires that have been ravaging California.

On Tuesday (January 7), the Pacific Palisades Fire broke out, fueled by hurricane-force winds that pushed it from the Pacific Coast all the way to Pasadena, with several other wildfires igniting around Los Angeles as well.

By last night, reports indicated that the fires had claimed five lives, prompting officials to urge residents to evacuate, and a red flag warning was issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) for Los Angeles and Oxnard, CA, lasting until tomorrow.

LAPD chief Jim McDonnell mentioned that the winds are something he’s never encountered before, and over 1,000 buildings have reportedly been destroyed, according to AP News, leaving Malibu’s coastline charred.

One of the homes impacted in Malibu belongs to Paris Hilton. She took to Twitter to share that she and her family watched their house “burn to the ground on live TV,” describing it as an experience no one should ever have to go through.

In a post earlier today, she expressed: “I’m heartbroken beyond words […] This was the place where we created so many cherished memories. It’s where Phoenix took his first steps and where we envisioned a lifetime of memories with London.

“Even though the loss is immense, I’m grateful that my family is safe. My thoughts and prayers are with all the families affected by these fires.

“To everyone who has lost their homes, their memories, and their beloved pets…

My heart goes out to those still facing danger or grieving significant losses. The destruction is beyond what anyone can imagine. It’s truly heartbreaking to think about so many waking up today without their homes.

Hilton mentioned that her 11:11 Media Impact Team is already reaching out to various nonprofits to help those affected by the fires.

“We’re dedicated to providing assistance as quickly as we can and making a real impact for those who need it the most,” she said.

The socialite expressed her gratitude to the “courageous firefighters and first responders putting their lives on the line to protect everyone.”

She added, “You are real heroes. I can’t thank you enough for your bravery, commitment, and the incredible sacrifices you’re making to save lives and tackle this unimaginable challenge. Thank you from the depths of my heart.”

Hilton wrapped up the post by encouraging everyone to do their best to ‘stay safe’ and to ‘follow evacuation orders.’

She made a promise: “Let’s look out for each other and keep our hopes up that these fires will be under control soon. Sending tons of love and strength your way. We’re all in this together, LA. Give your loved ones an extra hug tonight. You never know how quickly things can shift.”
